Success means something different depending upon who you ask. But we as Student Success Advocates like to think of success as something a little different than something that can taxed, or driven, or spent. 

Success to us is not giving up when you encounter the inevitable obstacles we as students all face. Success is not being afraid to try something new, to developing a game plan and revising it if need be. Success is not being afraid to hear the truth, and speak the truth.

Student Success is one day being able to pay it forward to another student who has found themselves in a similar situation, as well as working with the academic institution in order to accomplish their set goal(s). By making this connection to not only their College, but also their degree program, instructors, Advisor/Advocate, and themselves...commitment will then follow.
